Much as it did in my youth, I hope this epic fantasy novel augments all the other experiences of youth. Astra was created from the imagination of a man who worked his whole career in engineering and technology. In contrast to that experience is the story of the Scions of Astra.
In my youth I read all the best fantasy authors: Tolkien, GRR Martin, CS Lewis, LeGuin, Jordan, many more. That inspiration led me to share a story I had, even if it pales in comparison to the greats.

After releasing Book 3, I now have time to go back and edit, again, Book 2 to clean it up. Really poor practice to release it with room for improvement. But seriously, my practice here is to write to learn writing. My writing is improving. My grammar, sentence formation, and clarity. Spelling was always good, except those words that I always seem to misspell and tense
Book 3 is taking longer to complete than I predicted. The book is done, and it's good. I'm just getting pulled into editing details that I neglected to do right in the first two books. They also need that extra care. I now expect March 2026
For Book 3, the map of Western Astra is unveiled for the first time. The process to create the hand drawn map is underway. Spell checking of Book 3 is complete. Soon final proofing through dictation starts.
